Babies in Betws-y-Coed

At the end of our day in Betws-y-Coed, we decided to take a different street back to the bus stop.  We came upon this suspension bridge.  A wiggly, narrow fun bridge to cross.
Across the river was farm land and we decided to see if we could get closer to the sheep that we had been watching from the other side.

Oh my gosh!  I could see them on the path before I crossed the bridge.

They saw us and started coming towards us.

Yikes!  They were running!
Be a big girl....stay still and don't be scared.  Big a big girl....stay still and don't be scared.  Big a.......
My internal voice was working overtime.

How brave are all these lambs?  Within about 6 feet of me.  But they quickly turned away and ran from me.  Quite timid.  Me too.

Wrestling.....goat style.

Tons of twin lambs this year.  Everywhere.  They are cuter than I can express.

Very different colours and markings on these lambs.

The little guy on the left was doing their trick of jumping randomly with a wee kick at the end.  So adorable.

Love these little guys.  I can't believe how close they came to us.

Little lambs scheming again...."Lets ask Mom if we can keep the tourists because they are adorable."

"Can I keep just one of the tourist ladies?"

Happy Debbie making friends.

Awwwwwwww!!!!!

Brothers?  Sisters?

So sweet!  And so curious.

Finally the Momma sheep climbed up on a hilly spot and stared at us, letting us know it was time to go. No need to tell me twice.  She had a serious 'Momma sheep face' happening.
Back over this beautiful bridge with incredible memories of our play time with these wee sociable critters.
"Can I keep just one lamb Debbie?  There are so many twins no one will notice?"
