We are surrounded by mountains in this part of Wales. We understand that the further we go, the bigger the mountains we will see. Interestingly enough, as we were looking at these mountain tops in Llandudno, we thought we could see people hiking at the mountain edge.
It's not people, is it a dog???
What the heck is that? Wild mountain goats. They are called feral goats.
A Momma and a baby wild goat.
There were about 15 at the top, and they just kept coming over the hill.
These goats are descendants of Neolithic goats that have inhabited the areas for more than five thousand years?
Also in Llandudno, the feral goats are used for conservation grazing.
They were entirely fun to watch. However, I don't think I want to run into them hiking on the hills.
Babies and more babies. Between the sheep and now the goats, we have seen so many babies born around December. Cute as can be.
Beverly Hillbillies come to mind when I look at these funny creatures.
