Good-bye Ireland.....Hello Wales!

After the entire month of February in Ireland we are on route via Ferry to Holyhead, Wales.  Ireland was incredible.  Belfast, Derry, Galway, Dublin, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, the Aran Islands....I cannot pick one that I loved more than another.  The people are friendly and extremely helpful.  Add it to the bucket list.....and we will be returning...on another trip.

The Irish Ferry line will take us from the Port of Dublin to the Port of Holyhead, Wales.  The whole journey is a little under two hours.  Smooth sailing even though it was incredibly windy up on deck.  So windy that I couldn't stay above to take pictures.  In fact, as we got closer to Wales, they actually scooted us back into the ferry as it was apparently dangerous to be up top?  I didn't care for knowing that.

Early morning cruising from Ireland (the red light house) across the Irish Sea, passing those clouds to Holyhead.....the previous home of Kate and Will.  I'm sure that is not why we are going?  Oh yeah...it is!

Prince William and Kate lived in a very secluded cottage near the RAF Valley on Anglesey during their first few years together.  He worked for three years posted with the Search and Rescue there, flying helicopters and rescuing people.
We watched them practice....I hope it was a practice....when our ferry was coming into Holyhead, Wales.

We are here!  24 hours....what can we do?
I've got a plan...sort of.
Stay tuned.
