"It Was A Foggy Day" in Conwy

I am definitely not complaining just stating a fact.  The last two day in Conwy, Wales were incredibly foggy.  I have been on the East Coast of US and know that each morning the fog rolls in but dissipates with the warmth of the sun.  This fog in Conwy didn't leave until the morning we were heading to Caernarfon, Wales.
First off we had a great visit over coffee with Phil Sharples who is Uncle Phil to my friend Shona whom I work with at the hospital.  She introduced Phil and I to each other when Deb and I were planning a trip to Wales.  What a wonderful, friendly and personable man.  Now that I know Phil is only a few years older than me, I can no longer refer to him as Uncle Phil.....lol.

Below is the photo I took from our bedroom window of the Conwy Castle engulfed in this thick fog.

We decided to rethink our plans for the day and take a wee stroll along one of the Coastal Paths on the Conwy side of the river.  The fog gave a very different look to the Conwy we have grown to love.  The path almost looks like you are in the Caribbean, but truly it is Wales.  Flowers, budding trees and yes....palm trees.

Tide is out, fog is in.  Birds are happy?

The mountains that surround Conwy were almost invisible because of the fog, but the trees were glistening with the water droplets left on them.  Very pretty.

Flowering bushes line the path with huge bumblebees flying around quite busy.

This is my 'I need an ice-cream on this kinda day' look.  Oh....and I got a hairdo just for the occasion.

Looks like dusk and it is only 11 am?  You really can't even see the Castle?

There it is!  Hiding in the mist.

Debbie and I love these kind of days.  Strolling with no time constraints, going where and when we want.

This is the end of 'Angela's Tour Boat Company.'  I am not a great sailor in the fog....or anytime for that matter?  I loved that boat.

Bara Brith, is a traditional Welsh cake that tastes similar to fruit cake.  Delicious and just what we needed....after the ice cream I had at the harbour.....lol.

A return visit to the Smallest House in the UK, this time it is open for visitors.  One sterling pound and we are in so to speak.

Incredibly tiny.....this is the WHOLE of the first floor?  A ladder, just 3 feet from Debbie, is ready to be climbed to get to the one bedroom?  The most amazing thing about this home is the fact that the last man to live here was over 6 feet tall?  We have no idea how that worked?

And at the end of a cool, foggy, damp day there is nothing better than climbing into your bed and watching "Heroes" on my iPad......awwww.
