It is believed that goats have roamed the landscapes of North Wales for over 10,000 years. This fellow below is very impressive and looks similar to the other two goats except with the incredible horns? There are over 300 breeds of goats. Goats are known for being hard to contain with fencing? Hmmm...I wouldn't want to run into this fella on the road?
Unfortunately for these two goats they are penned in on a small farm right next door to the South Stack Reserve. They are the 'British Toggenburg' breed of goat. This particular breed originated in Switzerland. They are dairy producers. Generally they are friendly, quiet and a gentle breed....and make good pets.
Better than sheep for pets? Maybe I could have cute goats and sheeps? And birds?
