Walking along the waterfront of Llanberis, we, of course, came upon a number of different ducks, geese, and swans. Many people on this day were also enjoying the water fowl.
Interesting enough, these ducks in Wales TALK!! I'm not kidding.
Check out the first few photos of the amazing talking Welsh ducks.
"Hey, did you hear the one about the blonde, the redhead, and the brunette tourists?"
"So I told my travel agent that I could fly cheaper and faster than the flight she booked us?"
"I'm thinking of getting my tail feathers waxed? Do you think that would hurt?"
Three good buddies that don't need to chat because they are so comfortable together.
"Your partner is looking pretty lean, is she swimming laps again?"
"ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....I laughed my head off when I saw your cousin after he waxed his tail feathers. What a goose!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!"
"Well....I never"
"I'm so ashamed. I can't show my face."
A group of a different kind making friends. On the bottom left is our Mallard sitting beside a mixed (interbreeded) Mallard duck.
Heading away from them is a Goosander on the left and the female partner on the right.
These are the poster ducks for having "all your ducks in a row."
And these also.....
But I'm not sure if I want ALL my ducks in a row?
