The Cotswolds Tour

Another tour through the countryside of Bath and the Cotswolds.  This sweet 80 something woman invited us into her property to look at the gardens and her home.  What a lovely thing to do.

You may recognize it as the town of Castle Combe.  It is the only repeat visit on our tour, but we were ok to go back there because it is beautiful.

Posing in front of her lovely home.  Her name is Pat.  The other fellow was our tour guide, Phil.

Not a super picture, but the only one I managed to get of an English pheasant.  They are all over, but we see them mostly when we are travelling on a bus, in the fields.  Raised to be hunted for sport or eaten, some actually escape......RUN!!!!

Cotswold photos......lovely homes and scenery.

If we could managed to drive on the opposite side of the road, this area would be so enjoyable to tour around at our leisure.  Having said that, it was great, for a day, to be driven around while we watch the beauty of the English countryside.
