Salzburg, Austria

"Remember what Bilbo used to say:  It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door.  You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." -
JRR Tolkien

We are now safely tucked into a family run B&B, Pension Jahn, right near the train station in Salzburg.

We are staying for 4 nights.  It is really quite nice.  A 5 minute walk from the train station.  Yummy restaurants near by.  Thus my picture of our apple streudal we enjoyed our first night.

The Sound of Music and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart are two of this city's tourist draws.  Wednesday we will be heading out, rested, into the city to experience the Mozart legacy.  On Thursday, we are booked for a "Sound of Music" tour and a trip to the village of Hallstatt.  Can't wait.
